To ensure the most delicious Mac possible, we cook all of our dishes fresh to order. It takes 12-15 minutes to get bubbling hot, so if you are in a rush, be sure to order ahead. We are not currently taking orders over the phone, please order online here.

ABOUT BIGWIFE'S
Mac and cheese. It’s the ultimate comfort food.
And it’s exactly what owner Jayme Taxin craved throughout both her pregnancies. Her husband John began affectionately referring to her as Big Wife as her belly would grow. A glowing and happy pregnant woman, she celebrated her weight gain indicative of a healthy pregnancy at every doctor’s appointment.
As their children grew, mac and cheese became more than just a comfort food — it became a weekly staple. Known in the Taxin household as “Ole’ Faithful,” mac and cheese was a go-to answer for the question “what’s for dinner?”
The Taxin family is proud to offer that comfort to you. These mac and cheese recipes were designed to please and comfort you and your family — from the 'Classic Mac' made with traditional love & care (not to mention a smothering amount of cheddar), to more adventurous offerings like the 'Little Figgy Mac' with Calimyrna figs, ham, and goat cheese. We hope you enjoy!

Orders are available for pickup at the BIGWIFE'S storefront on Arthur Ashe Blvd, right next to Starbucks. There is a shared parking lot to the right of the building entrance.

REHEATING INSTRUCTIONS
Reheating your leftovers? This might sound a little weird, but use the microwave! Trust us.
From Room Temp:
30-60 seconds
From the Fridge:
90-120 seconds
TAKE & BAKE INSTRUCTIONS
For baking an uncooked Mac dish, just preheat your oven to 400°F, remove the plastic lid from your Mac, place the aluminum container in your oven on a cookie sheet, and bake until bubbling hot.
(Don't burn your mouth!)
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Aaron Meshon
Aaron Meshon is an illustrator, an award-winning children’s book writer, map-maker, muralist and cartoonist.
He first met John (the co-owner of BIGWIFE’S MAC N' CHEESE) in the early 1980s in elementary school in Pennsylvania. Since then John has been the big brother Aaron never knew he wanted or needed.
Currently, Aaron lives in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, with his wife and son. When he is not illustrating, you can find him eating BIGWIFE’S Buffalo Mac of course!
